The Nebraska-Iowa Railroaders group was founded in April 1971 and became a non-profit 501c(3) corporation formed under the laws of the State of Iowa in 2013 to further model railroading. We are an independent and diverse group, not associated with any national organizations. Many of our individual members do belong to various other train clubs and/or national groups. We currently have over 100 members variously involved in collecting and/or operating model trains covering all scales, types and vintages. Interests of many of our members also extend to railfanning, railroad history and railroadiana collecting.
